Pelican Rouge Belgium announced that it has agreed a definitive agreement to acquire the road vending operations of Sodexo in Belgium. This allows Pelican Rouge to further strengthen its market position in Belgium whilst Sodexo will be able to focus on its services, including in site vending.

is a long established coffee company with its own brand active in 9 European countries. The brand was established in Antwerp in 1863. They master each part of the process, from sourcing to roasting. The unique international network enables them to deliver and serve more than 150.000 customers across the globe.

Sodexo is founded in 1966 by Pierre Bellon in Marseilles, France, Sodexo is now the worldwide leader in Quality of Life services. At Sodexo they develop, manage and deliver a unique array of On-site Services, Benefits & Rewards Services and Personal and Home Services for all our clients to improve the Quality of Life.

The acquisition of these operations will expand the customer base of Pelican Rouge in Belgium where they have a strong position in operated coffee vending, OCS and Horeca and the acquired Sodexo customers will in future be able to benefit from Pelican Rouge’s quality coffee and service.

The acquisition will be completed by the end of April 2016 and integration is expected to be completed by summer 2016.
